the California Gasser Wars of the 1960's

Although faded you can still see the original paint .....

Fiberglass doors, they don't always fit as nice as steel doors. But then this is a race car not a street car!
The front-end is also fiberglass..... and side windows are plexiglass. Front and rear windows are glass.


The Current Owner Has Been Racing The Car For The Past 13 Years.... The Car runs 10.20's @ 135mph

Suspension on this car is a Willys tube axle in front with leaf springs & 90-10 shocks. In the rear is an
Olds rear end and leafsprings with with what appears to 5 foot Ladder Bars. Steering is a Vega cross
steer configuration. Wheel and tires include 15' by 8.5" Halibrands on the back with 28 x 12 x15 Goodyear
slicks. On the front are Halibrand look-a-like wheels with Vredistein 165-R-15 tires rated at 130 MPH.

Drive train consist of a 468 cube BB Chevy motor with twin 660 Center Squirter carbs and Brodix BB 1
CNC ported heads, Crane micro-lite lifters with Reher-Morrison stud girdle. Vintage Cal-Custom valve
covers with spacers, Jesel belt drive, Edelbrock water pump, moroso electric motor on water pump,
custom aluminum radiator with elec. fan, 14 to 1 Mahle pistons, Oliver rods, GM steel crank, aluminum
dragster pan, 700 Comp solid roller cam, ATI dampener, 10-gal fuel cell, 180psi mechanical fuel pump,
custom fender well headers and exhaust, Neil Chance Turbo 400, Larry Wilson 5500 stall converter,
B & M ratchet shifter, 57 olds rear with 4.30 pro-gears, full 35 spline spool and axles, and 1350 u-joints. 71 Scoop
